SoapBox chose Splash because of their focus on providing clean water by use of succinct programs that independently run after Splash exits the community, leaving behind clean water and hygiene education. We provide soap bars to supplement their clean water and hygiene education intiatives. These efforts are especially important in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is one of the largest countries in the world in terms of population, yet in land mass, it is only the size of Kansas. Because it is one of the poorest countries as well, there are significant aid resources already running and available, particularly in the capital city of Dhaka.

Partner Details

Splash’s goal is to bring their sustainable water resource design to the city by sharing all of their knowledge and expertise with BRAC, the world’s largest non-profit. With more than 100,000 employees spread throughout the city, BRAC is the perfect partner to bring clean water to Bangladesh efficiently and effectively. BRAC invited Splash to become their first water development external partner in 2013 and BRAC scaled the Splash model so Splash could exit in 2017.
